We Train Young People
to Solve Real Problems

Problem Solvers Initiative is a nonprofit empowering youth ages 16–19 in Atlanta, GA and St. Croix, USVI to identify community challenges and build real solutions through innovation, AI, and entrepreneurship.

Born from a Belief That Youth Can Change Everything

Problem Solvers Initiative was founded on a simple but powerful belief: the young people closest to a problem are often best positioned to solve it. When young people in under-resourced communities are given the right tools, mentorship, and opportunity, they don't just participate in the future — they build it.

PSI bridges the gap between the problems youth see in their neighborhoods and the skills they need to address them. Through structured programs, hands-on projects, and real-world mentorship, we turn community challenges into launchpads for the next generation of innovators.

Through PSI, Alyn brings together her experience in program design, business development, and advocacy to create a rigorous, supportive, and joyful learning environment for young problem solvers. Her vision: a generation of youth who don't just see problems — they build solutions, businesses, and legacies.

"Every community problem is a business opportunity waiting for the right young mind." — Alyn Jean

What We Stand For

🔍

Community First

Every program, lesson, and project starts with a real problem in the community. We solve for impact, not theory.

🤖

AI + Innovation

We equip youth with cutting-edge tools — including artificial intelligence — so they can build solutions that are relevant, scalable, and powerful.

💡

Youth as Leaders

We don't treat young people as future leaders. They are leaders now. PSI creates the conditions for that leadership to flourish.

🤝

Mentorship Matters

Every participant is connected to a network of mentors, entrepreneurs, and community champions who invest in their growth.

📈

Economic Empowerment

We integrate financial literacy and entrepreneurship into everything we do — because sustainable change requires economic foundation.
